One of the first things you learn as you enter medicine, is that it is a highly unpredictable science. As a newcomer to the profession, you are no different from the average humanoid who is fed with fantastic ideas about medicine from mindwarpingly stupendous shows such as the all too familiar “Tomorrow’s World” from the production houses of the British Broadcasting Corp. and others that evoke equally aweinspiring thoughts about man’s conquests of nature and the universe….(to be continued)
